i don't mean any personal offense to you, frank, but these are the kinda posts that have evidentally cuased quality members to leave this forum. first off, this question belongs in nutrition and advice. second, its been asked a thousand times. there is even a sticky about it over there. im not trying to say that im above you in any way, because im sure other members will tell you that i have posted over-asked questions in the past. however, i just don't want the forums to see the same questions asked over and over again, because, like i said before, members get annoyed. there is even a discussion about this in the help & feedback section. jock has left us because of posts like these. also, cursor made the sticky that says search, then ask. so, try it out. give it a search and you'll find the answer, or go to diet and nutrition and you'll find the answer.

I use Myoplex deluxe... It is by far one of the tastiest, quality MRP powders out there. I have tried other ones without to much succes and because of the success that EAS has had you can find the boxes of 36 packets at decent prices at the online wholesalers. I believe I end up paying around 1.70 per packet for mine... You cant beat that for a quality nutritous meal!!

You can come up with cheaper meals but not too many that have the same ease of convienence and taste....

make your own protien shake. The manufactured stuff is crap, filled with artificial sweetener which just will make you fat.

I have only used ON strawberry and chocolate. It has 23g of protein and 3g of carbs. It works good for me. The strawberry mixes easily and taste great. The chocolate doesn't mix as good but still taste great. I don't know that it is the "best" protein on the market but its got to be one of the top.

Whole food is your best option. With a little bit of prep the night before it isn't difficult to eat right throughout the day.

Umm, I don't think so, protein powder is a SUPPLEMENT, it says so on almost every brand.

Every day there are new opinions and ideas on all different topics. I would think new ideas are always welcome on a forum like this. Perhaps the question hasn't been asked in a while and the author is trying to stir up some more ideas?

So? Are we supposed to miss him? Seems like more of a patience problem on jock's behalf than a problem with the posts.

Sometimes search doesn't always work the way you want it to work. If your looking for a broad topic such as "creatine", then search will give you some good results. However, with a complex topic like this with many parameters the search will either return too few results or a bunch of posts that contain some words in the search without any relevance to each other.

Maurer, I'm not trying to bust your balls or anything, I'm just pointing out that frankieny's post was in fact worthy of posting.

Frankieny, to answer your question, I found that ISO-pure is great quality because its all protien isolate and not a mix of concentrates, although a bit expensive

ON 100% Whey is the best tasting and economic, although it is a lower quality.

Prolab just plain tastes like crap and doesn't mix well at all.

Myoplex Deluxe. Best tasting one and...

53 g protein per serving
12 g glutamine
1 g CLA
7 g fiber

And it's got alot of vitamins and stuff in it too, kinda pricey though.
