How long before I feel the Xenadrine "kick" ?
Hey all,
I've jus started my cutting plan, and wish to shed a few pounds of fat (10 - 15 lbs). It's the first time I have taken Xenadrine RFA-1 and I am on the starting dose of one tab twice a day. (Its my first day on Xen. today).
I've done a fair amount of research on Xen. and the most common side effects seem to be a raised heart beat and possibly headaches (as well as an energy boost).
But tbh im not really feeling anything. I thought I would have got some sort of a rush, or at least a minor increase in heart beat, but I haven't. Actually, my resting heart beat seems to be lower!
Is this normal? Any help would be appreciated.

If you already consume a high amount of caffiene that might have something to do with it. Maybe you just have a high tolerance to stimulants. Just my opinion, but I think its GOOD that you don't feel the rush, if you can take it without the rush all the better, its working.

Nope, dont really drink coffee..maybe one serving a week, two at most. About the stimulant thing, I did have chronic asthma when I was younger (say about 10 - 12 years ago) and the docters did have me taking loads of different inhalers all of the time... maybe this has somthing to do with it? As long as it works, i dont mind!

The ephedra free stuff is a rip off. Don't waste your time with it. If its the normal stuff with the ephedra then you should feel a little something. Don't stay on for to long. Your body will adjust to the amounts of drugs that you are using and when you come off you will put on a few lbs for no reason. Its a thyroid thing. It might even take your body 2 or 3 months to recover from one bottle of Xen. Ask your local supplement guy if he has something to boost your thyroid back onto production.
Use it for about two or three weeks before you want the weight gone. A day or two before you want to look your best cut your water intake to a few cups per day. Watch the carbs on the last few days. If you eat any carbs you will blot up and feel crappy. Keep in mind this is very hard on your system and not something that should be done on a regular basis. As for inhalers they generally have some type of steriod base in the mixture. They are supposed to speed things up so that you can breath. Are you still taking any type of pills for the medical condition that you had as a child?

Hey all, im still taking the Xen.
I think its having good effects, coupled with a good diet (before I started taking Xen. and also during this period im taking it) I have lost about 2"/3" total from my waist. Its gone from about 33"/34" to about 31" I have noticed the fat loss is faster during these few days I have been taking Xen. (If any body wants Excel spreadsheet of what I eat in a typical day, incl. measurements and what I have achieved in the gym please feel free to ask.)
Im hoping to drop my waist to 30" before I start bulking again.
My only problems are,
1) I feel a slight "travel sickness" for about 2 hours after I have popped a pill. Which isn't really too bad.
2) Im finding im getting pins and needles in my arms quicker for example when I rest my head on my arms. Again this isn't too bad.
3) My lower backs hurting. It seems as though the two muscles (if there are such muscles..) by the side of my spine are slightly uncomfortable. Its not really a sharp pain, but more of a dull sensation like when you are having growing pains in your legs/arms or somthing (im 18 btw). Is this normal?
Im not sure if it because of the Xen. or if it was because I tend to use strict form when im doing barbell curls for my biceps, except for the last rep or two where I tend to bend backwards while standing on my toes to get the last rep out, could this be the problem?
p.s. blacktrack were you on a good diet whilst taking the Xen. it really can make all the difference.

Xenadrine-RFA-1
I've been taking it for about 3 weeks now and it's not all that great. It gives me a little more energy and that's about it.
I tried hydroxycut for a week and I'm starting to think that it gave me more energy and also hydroxycut cut's your appetite and xenadrine doesn't. That can be good or bad depending on your goal.
I've lost fat but I think it's because of my clean and healthy diet.
I wanted to try the fat burners, I did and I don't think they are needed.

Your back pain could be caused by a few things.
1)You arch your back when doing your curls and damage the little muscles in your lower back and yes there are a some there.
2)You are not drinking enough water. Be carefull of your kidneys. Are your lips dry all the time and you can never get enough water? You should try to drink at least 1 gallon per day under normal circumstances so drink tons of water when using Xen. Is your urine very yellow and smelly or is it semi clear?

Hi ricohelms, I drink plenty of water, around 1.5 gallons I think. My urine is clear, with only a slight tint of yellow, most of the time it looks kind of grey.
It probably is the "arching" of the back. I'll rest my back this week, and see how it goes from there.
FPAEP I will post a sample diet/workout soon.

Sounds like your good on the water. Probably the arching back is what is causing the pain. Grey urine? Are you taking a good multi vitamin? Perhaps if you had a spotter when doing barbell curls you could avoid the arch but you probably know that.
see ya

Hehe, not multivitamin, I keep forgetting to buy a pack! It must be the power of the vege diet! hehe. Well i've rested my back for a few days, and rubbed some Ibuprofen gel on it last nite, and it seems to be much better now. I'll rest it a bit more, and apply some more gel
Unfort. Brits over here arent really that approachable in the gym I hardly see any strangers talking to each other in the gym, and the only people who do seem to be their own friends. So unless I start breaking the silence and start talking to people its gonna get hard to find a spotter!

Wow, that's is so strange. Here, in any gym, you can ask anyone for a spot, or advise or something.
