Probably no Danger. How is your sleep? If you don't get enough magnesium, it can adversely effect quality of sleep. You don't sleep well, your muscles don't recover well.

Workout today, really hard, feel like you've put your body through all it can do. Then don't sleep well tonight. Guess what? The workout was almost a waste of time.

If you are getting too much magnesium, you body will let you know by increasing the frequency of trips to the bathroom - have some Prep H on hand because it won't be pleasant after the 100th trip.

Now, eat your damn vegetables. Don't you know they are good for you?

Hm, now that I think about it, I am deff going to add some magnesium tabs to my regimen. I haven't slept right in a week since I cought a cold, like 5-6hrs a night and I'm usually an 8-9 sleeper. Thanks for the tip. I'm going to go buy some veggies now. peace out.

If sleep is what you are after, kava kava and valerian root will definitely have you sawing logs. I used both of them (past tense), kava kava more so, as a hot tea beverage in the evening. Good lucid dreaming.

However the increase in sleep from ZMA are believed to be from better hormone regulation and thus increased potential anabolism. Valerian will be different and iif like a typical benzo mechanism it will decrease phase 2 REM sleep the stage where GH is released so may not be benificial.

Kava Kava is banned here due to reported liver toxicity though the evidence is very suspect.
