I suggest you go through the
loading phase if is your first time
taking creatine, or your starting to cycle on it after you quit taking creatine for a long time.
The loading phase is a phase that gets creatine saturated into your muscles. During this process, your muscle should get bigger because more amount of water will be stored there, and you should be lifting more then you can.
After the loading phase, you just need to take 5 grams a day to maintain it. Also note that while on creatine, you have to get plenty of water in your system.
By my experience, loading phase was not a waste because it was when i actually saw results like in 3 days.
Also note that when i started on creatine, i didnt skip the loading phase.
