Hydrodycut

For those who take or have taken this..when do you take them? Before lunch and before a workout? Or before lunch and dinner?

When I took the Hydroxycut before my cardio my stomach was a little upset after I was finished. It says on the bottle that you're supposed to take them 1 hour before eating, but I don't like to lift on a completely empty stomach.

So, to answer your first part of your question. I took them first thing when I woke up then again an hour before my 3rd meal. I never took them before dinner as I have a hard enough time sleeping I didn't need to add to it by taking them too close to bedtime.

Okay thanks Kitara. I can't take it before breakfast because I eat breakfast like 5 min after I wake up, that's why I'm not sure when to take them.

I would take it first thing upon awakening and then around lunch or 30 minutes before your workout. Also, don't be afraid to take fat burners later in the day. I can take a dosage at 7pm and be ready to sleep like a baby by 11pm. I think most of the effects subside after about 3 hours or so.

If you have taken this, how well did it work for you? How long did you take it and what were the results. Thanks

AvgGuy - I will tell you how it worked for me, but I don't think I'm average. I didn't change my eating or workout schedule, only started taking the Hydroxycut. I was already at a calorie level where I should be losing weight. Anyway, on the pills they gave me a lot of jitters or energy. I couldn't tell the difference. I was slightly hyper. But, I didn't lose any more taking the pills than I did off the pills. I took them for three weeks and stopped taking them because the results I was getting weren't worth it. Most people seem to respond well to them, but I guess my body likes the way it's doing things. I was taking 6 pills a day and the ones I have DO contain ephedra. (some Hydroxycut does not)

Thanks. I will probably stay away from them then, I took stacker 2 for a while and didnt like the side effects. I could feel my hart racing when I was sitting doing nothing.

I took hydroxycut and had some mild side effects from it. I will say it got the heart really pumping. However, I have recently switched to Betalean HP. It is "supposed" to be time released. I can say I have almost NO side effects from it (of course it does speed the heart up, but not uncomfortably) and I feel its a good product. I would recommend it over hydroxycut (w/ephedra) for those who didn't like the stimulation of hydroxycut.

That being said, Hydro did work for me. I lost around 10 lbs in a little over 3 weeks. Betalean worked also, I lost around 6 lbs in about the same time period, and both times my diet wasn't in check and I was doing little cardio.

Im a pretty skinny guy, and im in the process of bulking right now, but I dont want to bulk with fat, i just want to bulk with lean mass, so would hydroxycut or ephedra (however you spell it) benefit me or would it hinder my results?

Also, I want a crazy 6 pack....I have an OK pack right now, but theres a tiny bit of fat in front, would hydroxycut or ephedra fix this?

What about cutting gel? Does it work?

Dustin - nothing takes the place of a good clean diet. If you're already at a low body fat % I wouldn't start taking hydroxycut while you're bulking. I think it would just be wasting money. When you're adding more calories to your diet just make sure your calories are coming from good foods. Make sure you're getting enough good quality protein.

About the cutting gels. I don't have personal experience with them, but from what I've read here they don't work. I would do a search on them because I know there have been posts here in the past about them.

As far as loosing that last bit of fat on your stomach, I don't know. I'll leave that to the experts .
