Hydroxycut w/ephedra

2 1/2 years ago I lost 25 lbs on Hydroxycut and maintained the weight loss - felt energetic, ate nutritious, looked great, etc. I exercised regularly (yoga 2x a week and treadmill 2x a week) and took Hydroxycut with ephedra (2 a day during the week and none on the weekend) as maintenance.

Because of the FDA ban, two months ago I stopped taking it and have put on 15 pounds without changing my lifestyle. I am sad about this turn of events!!! Due to demanding work hours I can't increase the amount of time exercising. The thought of going on a severely restrictive diet is depressing. Is there anyone out there who has any supplement suggestions?

Mind you, I'm am really new to the supplements and all of this stuff, but I have been doing a lot of reading, and the best that I have found, and with the most recommendations from people as to what works and what doesnt, is Xenadrine EFX.
http://www.bodybuildingforyou.com/xe...efx-review.htm

That review has a lot about all of the others as well. I've also heard a lot of good things about VPX Redline, but it is fairly new, and I don't think that it has had as much clinical studies done with it yet.

Hope that helps.

Misunderstanding.... did you take it all the way from 2 and 1/2 years ago and stop 2 months ago... so you took it for 2 years .. or you took it 2 and 1/2 years ago, started back a couple months ago then had to stop bc of the FDA banning it?

ahhh, that's a long time to take it!!! but I also have taken hydroxycut and xenadrine with ephedra in the past and gotten great results. yes htey banned those 2 products but they make this other one called metabadrine....it has the same ingredients and works the same. U can get it at gorilla vitamins... online. But do u want to be on them for the rest of your life?

Believe it or not M&F mag had an article on replacedments for ephedra in this months issue. I don't have it with me right now but they listed like 7 or 8 natural sups that would help. I know that green tea was one of them but can't remember the rest. Go to the newstand and just read that article I think it was on page 195 or something close to that.
