I know this is overkill

but I have a stupid question on protein shakes PWO. I did a search and there's a ton of results that I simply do not have time to read through. For those who know my situation, you'll understand why I don't have time to read through them, so I appreciate your patience with this question.

Now that i have a workout schedule that works for me, my focus has turned to the infamous PWO shake. I'm limited to what I can do so it is simply gatorade, whey, and creatine. For PWO only, how many grams of protein should it be? For the last four years, I've used only 20 grams PWO. Now I have decided to up it to 40 grams. Although it's been only a couple of weeks, I can see a difference. I lift three days a week, each a full body workout. That means I've had six full body workouts in the last two weeks. Seems to have shocked my body into growth. Additionally, some of my work is physical out in the heat (temperatures up to 122 so far to my knowledge), so it seems the workout is never ending.

So do you guys think 40 grams PWO is good or too much?

No, 40 is about right for the average male. 20 is about right for the average female.

If you feel you're performing better with 40, I'd say stick with 40. I don't think it's too much. What's too much, though, depends on a lot of factors. You're working hard, so my guess is that it's not too much.
