Unhappy

i'm hurting

anybody here who can help me with my back pain, i had a doctor and chiropractor look at it and they told me that it's prone to slip disc, i should avoid for awhile bending exercises, let it heal for awhile because it was a bit dislocated, the chiropractor made me lie on my face and pressed the back part of my (waist?) with one hand and the other hand he used for pulling my right leg upward, then both of us heard a pop. Would glucosamine w/ chrondoitin be effective for this? anybody here with the same experience? anything that i could take to make it go away? all i'm doing right now is sauna to take off the stress off my back after a workout.

Well rest would be my suggestion. I seel glucosamine & chrondroitin in the gnc, but I've not sold it for that kind of problem it's more for building / repairing and retaining water in the cartilage.

Julian, honestly, give yourself and your back a break - even if it may break your heart for a while! Listen to your body and give it time to heal itself, do not try to speed up the process. Your back is one of the most sensitive and injury-prone areas in your body and should be respected like you respect your girlfriend

No, seriously, you can up on glucosamine but it will not make a huge difference. What I can suggest is the following: STRETCH! Sorry for shouting but I needed to. Bad posture and a lack of stretching are the main culprits for back injuries.
