Is a Wellman multivitamin enough on its own?

The multivitamin "Wellman" from Vitabiotics (anyone familiar with it?) is advertised for active sportspeople, it has definitely improved my recovery and general energy levels, but could some of you experts take a look at this link and let me know whether it is adequate on its own without any other vitamin or mineral supplements (I of course get a little extra vits through my protein shakes, but not too much). As for my training, I am lifting weights 4 times a week and pushing myself as hard as is possible in the gym. Thanks in advance.

I would recommend eating 5 portions of fruit and veg a day. Dont rely on vitamin suppliments alone.

If the pill form is time released there is no advantage to liquids or chewables. Mega Man from GNC is time released but can;t say for Centrum but have known people to take Centrum with good results.

Aren't kids vitamins designed for kids bodies?

centrum uses fillers in their vitamins like...glass. pills dont give you all the vitamins they say...they're all in there sure, but your body doesnt extract them all. try to dissolve a centrum in a glass of water tell me what happens.

I think the best bet would be to buy vitamins with USP seal

Thanks for some of the tips - but I was rather hoping that some of the experts out there could take a quick look at the ingredients and tell me if this specific one is any good. It's about 3 times more expensive than some of the average ones, but for me it seems to work quite well (judged only by nails and hair growing slightly quicker, not sure how else to judge as I don't know if I've been deficient in anything before so wouldn't know the symptoms), and I have heard it is worth spending a bit more on a good multi. This is not centrum, in fact centrum is one of the average ones in my opinion and from what i've read and heard is not terribly effective or good quality. I am interested in some of the ingredients listed near the bottom, with regards to what some of the things actually do, how essential they are to bbers and whether they are in the right doses for maximum bbing effect.

Nutritional Information Average Per Tablet % RDA
Vitamin A 750 mcg 94
Vitamin D 5 mcg 100
Vitamin E 20 mg 200
Vitamin C 60 mg 100

Does that contain 100% of the vitamins and minerals, at least the necessary ones? IF it does u should be fine taking it especially if you say you noted improvement that should be an indicator its working well. some of the B vitamins look a little high though im not sure the reasoning behind that
