Question

Is Creatine mixed with Protein shake OK?

I'm currently taking my maintenance dosage of Creatine in the morning on non-workout days with my morning Protein Shake (23 grams) and with my post workout at night. Will I hurt the chances of body absorption by mixing the 2?
Thanks,
Mike

That's how I take it.
I gotta figure how to take my ZMA and my bedtime shake.
I have heard that ZMA won't mix with milk.

Shouldn't be a problem so long as there is no citric acid in your protein mix.

BTW, you should get some simple carbs as a transport for the creatine. Most protein is very low carb. Maybe add some dextrose or sugar?

I just use 10 ozs of 100% grape juice.

What you're trying to do is cause an insulin spike so your muscles take up the creatine. Hell, a candy bar would do it. Anything with at least 40g of high GI sweetners.
