Is it true?


yo guys?

is it true that if u concentrate too much on yr chest...and neglect the back muscles...u will like somewhow hunch? is this true? if i work out more on my chest then my back muscles...will i hunch? :confused:

Not sure, but why would you work your chest more anyway?

You can definitely cause muscle imbalances (which cause injury) if you only work one of opposing muscle groups and not the other. You should always strive for equal overall muscle developement no matter what your goals are. Balance is the key to overall fitness....just as too much of any one thing is never a good thing!

So in short---- Better get to work on bringing up that back of yours to match your chest!!

In a manner of speaking, yes. Some posture problems comes from strength imbalances between front and back like that. Since the bench press (for thoroughly unknown reasons) have become the cool exercise in the last 25 years there has been a lot of overworked anterior delts. If they aren't stretched properly a problem can develop. If you also neglect your back you're asking for trouble. WORK FOR BALANCED DEVELOPMENT!!
