kinda confused..
im looking to purchase some supps to aid my weight loss goal or fat loss goal. Im not really concerned about my weight as much as i am my body fat. im just trying to cut fat so would supps that aid in weight loss promote fat loss? or will i just lose the weight while keeping the fat. i dont have a really big waist but when i put my pants on, my darn fat tends to hang out a little bit. Are there any things that you guys can recommmend i take to help me in fat loss. I do cardio everyday but wouldn't mind a boost with supps. thanks
i was maybe thinking of "total lean by Gnc" or " Hydroxycut by muscletech" but thats all i can find out there..

yes...ok, if you want fast fat loss without muscle loss, go to physicalenhancement.com, go to the research materials, and get some clenbuterol( fat burning steroid that has anti-catabolic properties)
second, dont bother with cla, its quite ****ty
third, add a serving of Fiber One cereal to your diet in the morning
do your lifting in the morning after meal 1
do your cardio before your final meal
assuming you have a meal plan of 5-6 meals, consume your carbs/protein in the first 3, and your fats/protein in the other 2-3
take a calcium supplement to promote healthy bones, make sure you have enough protein in your diet, and keep the diet at 2000 cals a day, with 1 cheat MEAL a week

I think it would be beneficial if i added some of my info. Im 5"7 206lbs endo type body. Im descently muscularly developed, havent checked my bf but last i checked about 2 monthes ago was low 20's high 10's. my bf tends to concentrate around my lower stomach and lower chest. I probably over train in the weights and my cardio is left for competitive basketball for about 1 1/2 - 2 hours 5 days a week. i strength train 6 times a week
Im trying to lose about 30 lbs and be at around 12-15% bf. Im currently on a low carb high protein diet. I eat 6 times a day and drink 1 gallon + of water a day. Breakfast always includes 3 egg whites, 1 serving of old style plain oatmeal /w 3 tspn raisons. post workout meals always includes a tuna salad sandwich. whole wheat bagel - 266 g of water sealed canned tuna /w 2 tspn of fat free mayo and assorted veggies ie: chopped celery , tomatoe, cucumbers. Roughly 52g protein 3g fat 40 carbs 230 cals
Other meals include a veggie/fruit shake and what ever healthy stuff my mom puts on the table.

Well looking at what's being thrown around in terms of advice, looks like it's time to lay down my opinion. There's some simple things you need to be aware of at this moment in time, workinprog.
1) From Your thrid post, it's clear that supplements aren't what you need. (See Below)
2) Clen isn't a steroid, but you don't need it so that's irrelevant.
3) Fitness4U, gave some excellent suggestions, but don't spend your money just yet!
Moving onto your real problem. You play basketball for maximum 2 hours per day, 5 days a week...you train anareobically with weights 6 times a week, right ? I'll tell you now that you need to stop that routine straight away. Your major problems are that your :
a) Not eating enough calories to prevent catabolism throughout the day.
b) You're heavily overtraining.
You need to kill one either the basketball or the weight training sessions, and totally re-arrange them. You've stated so far that fat loss is your primary goal... so, do not I repeat DO NOT** do cardio on the same days you weight train.
Since it looks like this could be fairly hard with your tight scheduale, the only other option is to follow a strict diet (note that your going to be eating a faily large amount of food a day to sustain that kind of training and still achieve your goal).
It would be very helpful if you could post your daily intake for examination by the doc's here (I realise you've already posted parts of it, but the whole thing within one post would be good). Straight off the bat though at this moment in time, the only supplement I would rec. would be the whey protein... your going to find it to be your new best friend with your required daily intake becoming fairly high - it's very hard to get that protein, and you really could do with some fast digesting protein after your workouts.
But I say again, taking any supplements to aid your metabolic rate are not going to help you in the slightest, and will most probably without a doubt actually make matters worse.
- Lee
** If you have to, you need to leave at least 8 hours between the two.

thanks to all input.. lee, in the past i've used a lot of whey protein powders but i could never find one without being overly priced or one with just raw "protein" powder without the added taste crap thus adding more unwanted cals. im in the buisness of making muscle and hopefully eventually competing, im not to brag but if the only reason people dont take certain natural supps for they're taste will never get anywhere, thats why i keep my hopes high. i understand some people dont aspire as much as i do to become a hulk bu ti dont let something like taste get in my way.

Many of us have the same views....if your in this game, you don't eat for the enjoyment of food, you eat because you have to.

Optimum Nutrition makes a fantastic (in my opinon) whey product. You can get the 100% Whey or the 100% Natural Whey which uses a no cal sweetener and tastes quit good to me. I haven't used it for a while cause i'm broke as all get out but it's great and very fairly priced. You can find it for as low as 22.99 online for 5lb tub.

Yes they do, but you'll get a MUCH better deal buying from allthewhey.com direct. That's what my wife and I do.

GNC is very expensive. I buy mine from a mom and pop store because I would much rather support them than GNC and I do that will all the consumer shopping I do. God bless the mom and pop stores.
PS, and they are cheaper!
