You are younger, why not wait a week and we'll see if the megadose harms me, is beneficial, or does nothing at all? The things I've said are just what I think...not what I know. I'm going to experiment anyway - no need in both of us getting liver cancer or something.

DA: maybe you want to consider taking glucosamine/chondroitin/MSM compound to help that cartilege damage.

Major side effects are GIT disturbances, though i have seen up to 30g daily been tolerated by most. You lso have the risk of hypotension due to vasodilation. Also if you are taking blood thinning supps aspirin or fish oils you risk serious bleeding if injured.
Intravenous administation has also noted hyperkalemia as a side effect.
Over all though i would say git upsets will be your biggest worry.

BTW, I've wondered about some of your posts...your chemical knowledge seems very good. Are you a pharmacist, physician, drug dealer, or something like that? Or someone who just reads too much?

I have great confidence the oral drug will soon be available. However it can not be done by a do it yourself job. The drug works by the 3d conformation those 4amino acids have when bonded together for binding to MHC molecules not the effect of the individual molecules.
For you to make it you would need to bond the 4 amino acids in the right conformation and then over come the biggest problem to deliver it into the body without it getting destroyed by proteases and to get it absorbed as a whole and not to be effluxed.
Myself I am currently studying for my finals -4th year- of my pharmacy degree. I am hoping to go into drug research after and have a keen interest in sport medicine and supplements.

Maxgain, thank you for the information. I am so looking forward to the oral version. It was heartbreaking to be informed that although according to the study results it worked well for me - it didn't work well for enough people to get approval...apparently it has to not only be equal, but superior in safety, efficacy, with less side effects to the version already in use to be approved.
Hopefully, being an oral it will cost less than $1201.00/month too.
So you are a future pharmacist huh? That explains quite a bit.
Thanks again for your information.

Reporting back - Day 1.
Back day. Excellent all over pump. Good vascularity after the workout.
Was it due to the suppliment? I don't know because I had 3 high fat days and a cheat meal that was very high fat last night and missed some of my complex carbs over the last few days. Although I over supplimented with creatine and drank 1/2 gallon of water extra each day to prevent water and thus strength loss - whenever I eat more fat, I lose weight. I lost 3 pounds over the last three days and according to the tape measure - it was fat loss. This could account for the better workout, stronger workout, and better vascularity...besides I'm sure everone gets a good all over pump from deadlifting.
Tomorrow is chest/ab day. Then I have a full week ahead of me to watch how things go...I promise to share the results or lack of them.

Whey Protien 20g - 6 scoops/day (120g day)
Creatine/dextrose 5g/32g - 2 scoops/day (10g/64g day)
Micronized creating without dextrose 5g preworkout in protein shake (10g day)
GABA 1g - 3 scoops 30 min preworkout, 3 scoops bedtime (6g day)
NOS (L-Arginine) 9g - TID (27g day)
Glutamine 5g PWO (10g/day)
Then there is the alanine, tryosine, glutamic acid (like glutamine), and lysine
The only new addition is the L-Arginine (NOS) - the one which is the purpose of this thread.
Don't forget my suppliment dosages aren't exactly the usual amounts and I am very closely medically supervised at all times with complete blood work and MRI's done frequently. My docs are aware of my suppliment regimen and participate in watching them to keep me safe & healthy...so far, so good.

Yep, Dr's orders. This one isn't my personal physician - he's just a close friend who is aware of my condition, works closely with my doc, and told me that 5g/day is good according to the studies, but as mass goes up, creatine need goes up. Excess is urinated off and doesn't do any harm (I've got the labs to prove it). It's only 10g on non cardio days BTW. Besides, he bought it for me and said there's plenty more where that came from.
This guy has the physique to back up what he tells me too - damn lats he could fly with.

So have you ever measured how much creatine you've pissed out vs taken in?
I know its not dangerous but you could literarily be pissing your money away so to speak.

Well in that case i wouldn't worry about it either .
I take in 6 g a day on off days and on days that i work out about the same and sometimes a little more. (always in two doses)
Though i take the ester form along with monohydrate...

I dont think there is ever a need to supplement that much. You are wasting at least 13-17g a day. At least you are getting kidney function regularly checked. I would presume your blood creatnine and urea levels have to to be high with the supplementation. I wonder if this covers any strain that may be put on the kidney.
