late night protein

just wondering, how many of you guys drink protein at like 3 in the morning. i started doing that like a week ago, i mix it before i go to slelep, set the alarm for 3 30am. i wake up, drink, go bakc to sleep, im only awake for like a minute. my reason behind it is that there's no nutrients for my body to work with whiel im sleeping cause i haven't eaten in so long.... so i give it some protein.

Take cottage cheese before bed time. Your body will feed on it for quite a while when you are asleep.

protein to fat

doesn't it turn the protein to fat while you sleep since the body is not digesting it more than when you're awake and active?

I don't think this is a good idea because you are interrupting sleep. For maximum muscle recovery you should get between 8 and 9 hours of UNINTERRUPTED sleep

I take some before bed w/ some milk since I tend to do my ab workout a little bit before I go to sleep.

the sleep is that fragile?.... it has to be uninterrupted?

im only awake for like a minute, im still like stuck in the sleepiness by the time i finish drinking so i fall right back to sleep.

I take a time release protein, like Designer Why Glycerlean or Muscle Milk. Basically its like liquid cottage cheese... Muscle Milk is amazingly tasty, but high in Sat Fats...
