Sizzle, in my opinion there are very few companies out there doing any kind of original research and product design. Avant Labs is one of the tops, and I personally respect them a lot. They are also very open about the mechanisms of action - even going as far as to tell you when the research is not 100 percent in agreement. Par Deus and some of the other people also spend a lot of time on the bodybuilding boards answering questions and such. I dont see many owners willing to put that much into it.

Contrast that with a lot of the other crap that goes on in the industry (muscle-tech, and so many other unoriginal, market-hype focused companies that steal someone else's product idea just out for a quick buck) and it becomes easy to see who is doing the real work. Avant is the company that brought the PH transdermals to the industry. Not only were they promptly copied by tons of other companies, but someone turned them in to the FDA and they were forced to stop manufacturing them while the other companies werent (yet). No matter how many people try to copy them, their gels are always getting better feedback and results than the others.

As far as Anorect-IN, I have about half a bottle here that I use sometimes when I am craving a snack really bad. It is a quick appetite killer that I squirt into my mouth, which is Synephrine based. It does work, somewhat, but if your leptin levels are too low then the hunger cravings will overpower the Anorect-IN.
I think this month's Ironman magazine has an article on Leptin and what it is all about. This article is written by Par, who owns Avant.

Leptigen, on the other hand, is one of the most amazing things I have tried in a long time. Basically, it fools your body into thinking that you are not starving it (when dieting to lose fat), and preventing metabolic slowdown. It also seems to partition nutrients toward muscle and away from fat cells, further reducing fat stores and fat storage. In combination with the Absolved and Lipoderm, along with a super low carb diet, I am losing massive amounts of fat with little loss in muscle.

Sorry if I sound like an ad. I just have a huge respect for people that are actually out there combing the research and designing things that actually work, instead of trying to push crap like Smilax and Creatine Serum.

hey i totally agree dsade. when i first looked into Avant Lab's i noticed they were pretty low key, not so much advertised their products and everything. but then again i also have been hearing only good things about their products. i dont recall coming across any negative feedback. i do remember, however, reading how someone used lipoderm-y and it didnt exactly live up to their expectations BUT it did work nonetheless. not like that cutting gel junk i saw widely distributed that only retains water.

leptigen is what i have my eyes set on as of now. sounds like great stuff! especially for me because i personally either:

(1) don't like to eat a lot or 6 meals a day, simply because im not hungry and i dont wanna stuff my mouth if im not (by the way is that bad? if i usually dont have a big appetite?)

or

(2) i go cycle school and work on a weekly basis so i dont have time to fit in those necessary in-between-meal-snacks.

now im not a pro or anything nor do i know all there is to know about supplements and chemical reactions or what not, but what i got from the description on the website and what you just said, leptigen defeats the starving mode process which REQUIRES you to eat 6 meals a day just to avoid your body from storing those fat deposits. if thats the case, im more than willing to buy 3 tubs haha!

thanks again for the reply dsade!
