Looking for steroid information: Where do I start?
Hey guys, i'm relatively new to bodybuilding and have been intrigued by the idea of using roids, but i don't want to do anything hasty or stupid (such as screw up dosages and take the wrong substances). My basic plan is to continue lifting for at least three more years and see where i stand. I want to do as much research as i can before i do a cycle. So, my question is, can you recommend a good source or better yet sources for complete and accurate steroid advice?
thanks

Steroidology.com is full of advice. You'll also probably pick up a lot more links from there too.
Cheers,

www.steroidology.com (like Hav said)
www.fitnessgeared.com
www.muscletalk.co.uk
www.uk-muscle.co.uk
www.elitefitness.com
www.chemicalmuscle.com
www.musclechemistry.com
www.gotfina.com
Be warned bro some of these boards are very hardcore and they will flame newbies if you ask something stupid.
The best thing to do would be to search all of these boards tirelessley. Remember all the questions you have will have been answered numerous times before. When you do feel adequatley informed but want some more detailed info, include your stats and training history in your first posts.
From what you have said you sound responsible about steroid use. All of the boards will advocate at least 1 year of consistant training and responsible diet before even considering gear. The key to making and keeping gains from steroids can only be learned from the discipline gained from several years of natural training.
Best of luck, Jock

Jock is correct about flaming newbies. LOL
You also have to understand that some of the dosages that these bros use are HUGE. Start small on your first cycle. Don't let anybody talk you into a 1g per week of test is a great first cycle. The bros on elite go way hardcore.

Why would anyone be mean to a newbie? Do the roids make them irritable? is it a tight group or what??

Probably tired of responding to the uniformed and worn out questions they receive.

Correct, they get asked the same questions 5,000 times.
There is a section in elite called "Newbies, read this before you post" just so that they don't have to flame every person who joins up.

Try your local library. I just did a research paper on steroids for my Psychology class and got a ton of information there. Obviously it isn't going to give you expertise on what to use, how much to use, etc, but there is a ton of information available that you should be aware of if you are considering to go on a cycle. ~Steve

True to a point. The library and many published articles only document roid rage and jerkoff reports of people doing stupid things. The sides of gear are known as are the dangers. The real question that needs to be answered for this guy is, what, how much and how often.

He said he is a relative newbie, so I was just pointing out one resource. Agreed, most of it is fairly one-sided, but it does provide a lot of knowledge of the effects, good or bad, and such. Just trying to help... I know I learned a lot myself, so thought it may be beneficial to someone else also. As he stated, he should get as much knowledge from as many resources as possible. ~Steve

There is very little unbiased, reliable information on steroids about.

Thanks for the replies, i'm learning tons of useful information about juicing. The more information i gather, the more i feel like i really don't know sh**... lol That's okay though because at least i know i'm in over my head right now and i can take steps to correct that. It seems it would be a hell of a lot eazier and safer to have a doctor guide me but that isn't an option. I'm gonna need all the help i can get. By the way, steve, that link that you posted looks off the hook, i can't wait to read the book for laymens..
