Lots of blood during #2 :(
Hey guys I am currently on Day 4 of my Loading stage with Celltech creatine and today I had a lot of blood come out during the (non-urination) bathroom thing.... Anyway a friend suggested that I am not drinking enough water, which I probably was not but to top it off I had drank A LOT of alcohol last night at a party (approx. 4 hours after taking creatine) and it was suggested that that was what iniated this.
I was recommended to drink lots of water and to stop taking the creatine. Any other suggestions?
Any advice appreciated because I dont know what to do

You really need to schedule a doctors visit bro. Im sure you'll be ok, but this isnt something to be taken lightely.
Do you have hemhorroids? Fisures?
Do you abuse laxatives?

No, no and no. I was told to drink plenty of fluid after taking creatine at monrings and nights (which I did). However, I was not aware that I had to drink plenty of fluids all throughout the day. Add to that, the fact that I got crazy drunk last night and all that alcohol going through my kidneys with the Creatine that I took a few hours before and that's what happend. I was just worried that I was internally bleeding somewhere and I didn't want it to be serious. I am drinking about 20 oz every 30 minutes hoping to clear my system. But if anyone else can relate or heard of similiar stories, please let me know.

orally taken creatine is worthless. I highly doubt your BUN/Creatinine ratios are off enough to cause bleeding from simply taking creatine orally.
Ive had an inflamed liver with high AST/ALT levels and never once saw any blood.

Are you sure it was the creatine that did this to you? I took Celltech for 2-3 months and had no problems at all except I paid way to much for it. I'd say the best thing you can do is go to the doctor about this, I dont know how old you are but its always possible it could be something as serious as cancer- I'm 17 and cannot have a colonoscopy (sp.) at this point but the doctor is making me take samples of my own magic stuff to test for blood, because my dad had colon cancer (he lived). So I'd get to a doctor ASAP, if my dad had waited any longer than he did odds are he wouldn't be here now.

It was the alcohol that did it to me but only as a result of taking creatine hours earlier. Creatine needs lots of water, which I drank after taking it at night. However, hours later I was drinking a lot of vodka shots with no chasers (no non-alcoholic liquids). The vodka dehydrated me which left the remnants of creatine without any water. I'm guessing my liver/kidney had to work extra hard to process it which led to the excess bleeding.

See if you have this happen consistently. One time could be ANYTHING...could be a bunch of broken blood vessels or something.
If you start getting alot of blood consistently, definitely go to the doctor. The earlier the better.

It just shows that Cell Tech is not good for the body. Anything that rips your insides on the way out is not so good in my opinion.

Creatine, especially Creatine Monohydrate requires for you to drink lots water. Also you need to increase your fiber intake, if you don't get enough the "stool" gets hard and when coming out it creates the problem you are having...The Creatine is/was drying you out!

Also, be cautious that even just a few drops of blood in the amount of water in a toilet can look like ALOT of blood. Are you sure it wasnt just a few drops or something?

It's not a lot of bleeding but there is blood coming out. The only bright side I guess is that the blood is a bright red color, which is not as serious as a dark hue which means deep internal bleeding. I am going to wait a few more days maybe it will stop. I don't know what to do at this point, I have searched relentlessly online, and can't find anyone with this side effect.
I think Fitness4u makes a valid point about the stools, the 3 days that I was loading, completely took my focus off a lot of things (#2 included). Right now I am drinking fiber shakes, and we'll c what happens.
Thanks again for the advice guys.
