M1T and my situation.

Okay, so here's the thing. I've been offered a scholarship for football to 4 different universities, however! The only condition applied is that I bring my weight up into the 200's and the higher the better as long as I maintain my athletic capability. I'm currently 193 and dropping in weight for boxing...I need to get down below 185. My body fat right now is hovering around 12% and provided my schedule works right i'll be down to between 7 and 10% when I'm below 185. I was looking at trying M1T, or methyl 1-testosterone to get that extra edge. My bench press hasn't changed in months and it's frustrating as hell, it's been at 320 while i've changed up my routine every 3 weeks for the last 4 months to try and break that. I am looking for opinions and any input from people with experience etc. Anything would help, I'm in no hurry and I've done my research, but I want to know if it's worth it or not. ~Scott <----ps. it's free for me if I was going to do it, so don't use cost in the opinion.

It sounds like you can bulk up easily to over 200 naturally, so before you use hormonal supplementation you have to make a choice: Do you want to box, or do you want to play football? Once you have made that choice then the rest is easy.

And only you can tell if using hormonal supplementation - with all the possible side effects - is worth it. And don't kid yourself because there is always a cost to drug use. You have to decide how much in a non-monetary value you are willing to pay. This advice is from someone who has been there.

Ah. Please excuse me. I should not say this because it will make me very unpopular. One of my sons will attempt MIT based on academics. First, he needs to serve two years in the Coast Guard as an engineer OFFICER in the bottom of a ship. MIT is the only university which offers his degree at the graduate level.

Give up football and take up studies. In the final round, it's what we KNOW that makes us human beings. Oh boy.....I'm going to get beat up for this.

Ironman - do you have experience with any sort of phoromone or steroid? The hardest part is truly the choice between football and boxing, I have a future in football and the prospect to go pro is already there, and if needs be i'll play Ti-cats like jesse lumbsden. Hehe, jokes. Anyhow, boxing i like to do more as a pasttime and I don't need a certain weight because whatever I do i'll always be towards the top of my weight class. Ie. If I go over 200, the next bar is 224.5 so I don't go into super-heavy, etc. The only thing is that I want people's input who have tried steroids / M1T, etc. as to what to take with it if I WAS going to do it or decide to do it. I'm very amateur to this stuff and if I do do it, I'll need alot of guidance. ~Scott

I was reading an article that said these products are best taking with stuff like anti-estrogens and liver cleansers like milk thistle...etc. I was just wondering if this would contradict another article that said taking this product with other products could result in serious injury. I'm so confused about this and was wondering if people could help me out a little bit. The only info I get is really sketchy and I was looking for actual results and side effects and so on. ~Scott

Pro hormones need to be treated like a steroid cycle and will require pct afterwars and even anti eostrogens throughout.
Supplements such as milkthistle and ala are needed to protect the liver garlic and coenzyme q10 and fish oils for the heart saw palmetto for the prostate and hair.
While i DO NOT recommend either without knowing indept information i would stay away from prohormones all the troubles of steroids with little of the effects. A low dose cycle of testosterone only can be a lot better option but this is a decision you need to make.
Remember the most anabolic thing you can take is FOOD.

i don't know how M1T will show up on a drug test, but if you're playing college football you better count on being tested, and what consequences that is gonna play if you do test positive. You definitely don't need to be to go the steroid/prohormone route to put on 7 pounds(from where you currently are). You should mess around with your diet and other supplements before you open that can of worms.

visionary, you're my new bestest friend!

scott2k3: to break that bench stall, have you tried rack presses? seriously: for the next four weeks, instead of regular bench presses, switch to rack presses. i did them for three weeks and it fixed my sticking point and brought my poundage up. i don't know how others do it, but i would unrack the barbell, lower it to the pins (set up about 4" above my chest when setup), then instead of grasping the bar to raise it, i started down low and tried to drive my hands "through" the bar, grabbing it on the way up.

three or four sets of 5 or 6 once a week oughta give you something.

as for M1T, its illegal, where would u get it?...if u havent been lifting for at least 6 years, dont use any hormones, and also, even if u do use them, M1T is too strong for a first time user
