i was talking to one of my coaches about a kid who would stand in front of the mirror imagining his muscles getting bigger and we laughed. he then proceeded to tell me of books he has read about visualizing a workout and how it somewhat stimulates
muscle growth and also thinking of a muscle group while doing a workout. ex: thinking about your pec getting bigger while doing bench. he also said thinking about the bicept peaking while doing curls can help somewhat with getting a peak. i was wondering what anyone knows about mental visuals while working out or if its just bull.
