Met-Rx Pure Protien Bars

I have heard that some bars do not contain what their labels say they do. Has anybody heard if this is true for the Met-Rx bars. I use the chocolate fudge pure protein bars. It is a good tasting 32 grams of protein. It also contain L-glutamine., has only 1 g of sugar, and i think 5 g of fat. What does everybody think of these and/or other protein bars?

usually, the only thing that these protein bars lie about is the carbohydrates. they manipulate the grams to where it reads only about 5 or 7 grams when there is about 40 in reality

How are they allowed to do this. Aren't these approved by the FDA? The Met-Rx bars have like 25g of carbs.

I didnt know you could actually eat those things. I walked past them a coulple of times at the health store but I kind of got the impression they were a bit of a gimmick. I hope not though, I wouldnt mind something easy to get down with protien in it.
What have they got in them?and are they slow release carbs?
I thought I heared someone say they're like two bucks fifty.
If that be the case they probably arnt selling too many of them.

They are way too expensive for me. I stick to whey protein shakes. Easier...usually tastes better....alot cheaper...just not as easy to carry around.
