Mixing a protein shake 8 hours before...

My question is whether I can mix a whey protein shake about 8 hours before I work out. The reason I want to do this is that I work out after school, and want to have my shake right after I work out. If I do not do this, I would have to wait over 30+mins until I got home to have it. So I figured that I could make the shake before school, and then bring it to school and after I finishing working out, shake it up in its bottle. What are your opinions on this?

Why not just throw the powder in to a shaker and add water from the water foutain when you need it?

Just fill a shaker bottle with water and then add your protein powder before or after you train to make the shake. Whey protein powder mixes easily in water so it doesn't require a blender. Mixing the protein powder hours in advance may cause it to clump.

hey corey. I have a similar problem at uni. I get a food bag an put some protien in that, then put the bag in my shaker. This stops the powder sticking to the side of the shaker when theres no water in it.
