mixing protein powder with gatorade

i just started using protein powder and i can barely stand the taste(i think i`ll try a different flavor next time). Would it be ok to mix it with gatorade instead of water or wouldn`t it dissolve as well in gatorade?

Gatorade is mostly water... it will dissolve just the same.

I personally cant stand whey mixed in water. The only thing that worked for me was mixing it in milk. I tried mixing it in 2% skimmed but it started to taste like mixing it in water. Try mixing it in homo milk and see if u like it or not.

Mixing it with Gatorade may make the drink taste better but can effect your progress if weight loss is your goal. This is due to the fact that Gatorade rapidly increases insulin levels which can lead to fat gain. The one time to drink protein + Gatorade is after a workout when you want an insulin spike.

Instead you can improve the taste of your protein powder by adding peanut butter or low glycemic fruits such as strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries depending on the protein powder flavor.
