Don't worry bro we hear a lot of this, most of the anti-steroid members on here don't know jack-sh*t about them either but at least you are mature enough to be honest about it. We all know ignorance breeds contempt.
As Lee said you must be a good mate to be so concerned about his health, but IMO it is
his decision to take steroids and therefore it is
his responsibility to use them as safely and as effectively as possible.
Knowledge is the key here, your friend must have done his research in order to carry off a successful cycle. This also goes for knowledge regarding nutrition and training, he can take all the roids in the world but if his diet is bad or his training habits are off then his gains will be minimal (I have seen boys taking massive amounts of streroids to make up for poor diets and crappy training habits)
Make sure you friend has some clear goals.
Give these sites to your bro and tell him to read, read and read some more!

A lot of newbies will tell themselves and others that they're 'only gonna do one cycle'; this is
bullsh*t, steroids have a psychological addiction that is extremely powerful (only people who've done a good cycle know what I'm on about here).
Urge your friend to stay in
control. He will find coming off steroids horrible and will have a nagging feeling to get back on again. Make sure that he does a correct PCT (post-
cycle therapy) and lets his
natural testosterone levels recover by staying away from gear for
at least the length of his first cycle.
After this he can properly evaluate his gains, his goals, and the whether he
needs steroids again to help him achieve his objectives.
Tell your friend I wish him the best of luck, Jock
