Myoplex food equivalent

Hi,
I'm going to start the body for life program, which recommends using myoplex products for small meals. I cannot afford these on my budget. I looked at the myoplex light- 190 cals, 4.5 g fat, 12 g sugar, 26 gram carbs, 1 gram fiber, 15 gram protein, plus 270 mg sodium and 320 mg potassium.
I would prefer to eat food instead of the bars, but with similar nutrition composition....this is where I'm asking for ideas please.

What about 1/2 cup cottage cheese, some berries or an apple, and something else?

Other ideas for variety please?

Thanks!!

budget or no budget I would recommend avoiding these products! 12g sugar? forget it. Get your sugar from natural sources.

your idea was a good one : cottage cheese & fruit. Use full fat cottage cheese.

Other suggestions for 200 calories:

1. 2 boiled eggs & an apple
2. peice of cheese, carrot sticks
3. 2oz deli meat (lean, low sodium) on a couple of rye crackers with a dash of mayo
4. greek yogurt (high protein) with berries & a sprinkle of oats & nuts if the yogurt is fat free
5. 1/2scoop whey stirred into 1/2c cooked oatmeal, tsp peanut butter

I'm sure Myoplex paid a nice sum to have BFL recommend their products.

I've eaten the Myoplex bars and unless you like busting ass every 5 minutes and lots of time on the toilet I would stay away from them.

Whole food choices are a much better option as minime stated.
