N-Large II Or Whey??


Hey, im 15 years old, 5"7, and 120 pounds. I hope to gain a few pounds before september(about 20 or 30 pounds). What supplement is the best to take after my workout? N-Large II Or Whey?

some use nlarge pwo. if you use a whey powder, add carbs to it, like gatorade or powerade for example.

Protein powder. N large will only make your wallet smaller.

I wouldn't recomend mixing common powders into gatorade though, it will make it thick and nasty. You can mix it with any type of sugar though, dextrose being best; however, unless you plan on adding enough to get an insulin spike (up to 70g) just use it for the taste.

Do u guys recommened YellowJ's recipe for weight gainers? Do you guys think it'll help me pack up 20-30 pounds beofre sept?
heres the recipe:
15oz milk
1/3 cup crushed oatmeal
2 scoops peanut butter
2 scoops whey powder
1 yblspoon flax oil (or equilivant)

you can either eat those calories or drink those calories. either way, get those calories in, hit the weights and allow time for proper recovery.

I use NLarge2 and it's very cheap for the quality of product you get. 3 lb bucket for 15 bucks. You cant do much better than that. I get the 10 lb bucket for about 35 dollars.

Though I have never tried this myself, it is a common recipe that many people have reported great results from.
