What's your body fat %. If your 5' 8 175 your definitely over weight. Unless your 5'8 with an extra 25 pound of muscle. Look up a heigth weight chart. I'm 5'8 148 and if i was 175 i'd either be ripped as hell or have love handles and bitch tits too. Try doing side bends with dumbells. I've been doing this for about 4 months and it realy adds muscle on your obliques and lower back where you get the start of the V going.

i have no idea what my body fat % is. i know i am overweight but not as much as it may seem. I have been doing some dumb bells along with my regular bench and my man boobs are starting to go down. although i still have really puffy nipples and i just want to get rid of them. i have no idea how to get rid of my love handles. i do abwork every day since september but nothing seems to help. i have even changed my deit a little also. what would be the best exercise for the love handles. also i think i might try a little noveldex since i can get it really cheap from a friend. are there any really weird side effects from it in males?

bro there are no exercises for stored body fat any where on your body. the only hope you have is build muscle and get your diet straight. there is no magic exercise. look at the positive..you got the tits and a dick. i love you man.

I haven't experienced the puffly nipple thing, but I do know that love handles are really common, and are often the last fat to leave the body on a lot of guys. I know I'm that way. You probably need to change your diet a LOT and exercise a LOT.

I basically lost mine over a 2 month period (Nov and Dec) when I watched what I ate, lifted 3 times per week and ran outside 5 miles each day. NO days off in November (even ran on Thanksgiving) and only 4 days off in December. Also, I'd occasionally do 15 or 20 minutes on my treadmill during a different time of day. I'm not saying this is a good way to go about losing love handles but it did work. The point is that for some of us it requires almost drastic effort to lose them, even after all other fat is gone. It requires pretty much a lifestyle change in my opinion. I wouldn't be surprised that if you were able to lose your love handles, that the fat around your nipples would disappear too.

Side bends or exercises that work the obliques won't make any difference in getting rid of your love handles. In fact, it may make them worse because the muscle you build on the obliques will just push the fat out more.

Clean diet, weight training (squats, deadlifts, bench press) & cardio (even though that's usually frowned on here) over a period of a few months and I bet you'd look a lot better. I agree with a previous poster: 178 lbs. for your height is way overweight unless you've been hitting the iron for quite a while. You can expect to have extra fat at that weight, no way around it.

well i made my first post on jan 30th. since that day i have been trying to do a little more of a cardio type workout with weights instead of going for my max's and i have been watching my deit. although far from perfect it is still better then before. and with the help of xenadrine i have dropped from 176.5 to 173.5. I weight myself when i wake up in the morning with just my boxers on. I also ordered a digital body fat calculator thing so i can keep track of that. lets hope i can get at least down to 160. that would be very nice.

side bends will build muscle and if you don't have a high body fat % they will show through. I've never heard any say not to do exercises because it will push the fat out even more. The more muscle the easier to lose weight.
