Newbie Looking for help......


Sup I just joined these boards to learn more about lifting and etc....

Ive recently started trainning 3 times a week with a trainer and doing cardio about 4 time a week(usually after a work out)

Im basically looking for some help on supplements....

I'm currently taking protein and glutamine.....
Any other supplements I should be taking that would help me out...

Im currently at about 189 with 15% body I wanna hit 200 with less than 10%...
What supplements should I take.....
Ive heard of dextarose.......flax oil....creatine....andtribsul(not sure If I spelled them correctly)

I take creatine as it gives me extra energy, quicker recovery times and generally helps me lift more. I think its best to take when tou platue tho as you can make good gains early on when you start bodybuilding. What kinda protein you taking because I used to take soya protein and found that whey protein is much better. Also you should look to take a good multivitamin tablet as weightlifting/bodybuiling puts a lot of stress on the body so vitamins can help strengthen your imune system amongst other things so you dont pick up diseases etc.

If you have just started training regularly I would say that protein is the only supplement you need. Leave the glutamine and creatine until later. You could maybe get some dextrose to take in your post workout shake but theres really no need for anything else yet. You should make good initial gains anyway.
