hmm. . . sounds like you need to relax more.

NOREPINEPHRINE triggers hostility and irritability. This hormone is similar to adrenaline but it triggers aggressive behavior where adrenaline tends to make us flee.

EPINEPHRINE (adrenaline) triggers anxiety. Most of us are familiar with adrenaline. Adrenaline triggers the flight or fright response in animals. We need it when we are under severe stress, but if it is in abundance under ordinary life circumstances, it may make us feel paranoid.
I think you need to consult your doctor because the info I found shows that you have to have a no animal protein, no dairy, no caffiene, no simple sugars, high fiber, high magnesium and high B6 diet. This would be a real tough diet for me to handle.

Some stress managment of some kind is likely in order. Epi and Norepi are naturally occurring stress hormones. They are very useful to the body and without them, we wouldn't live. On the other hand, too much of them is NOT good either. We produce them upon any physical or mental stress. Find the source and control it - likely the levels will come under control unless you have some medical condition that is causing you to produce too much. In the case of a medical condition, you do need to have it treated or you may end up with tachycardia and hypertension. Heart attacks and strokes should be avoided you know.

Lady C is right on the relax more and consult the doctor statements.

cheers although relaxing is not a problem, i'm not really stress mentally at all thats for sure, infact work is easy at the moment, i would like a job with more stress if anything, but i do feel way too hyper and jumpy.

i can't get to sleep bofore 3am unless i have melatonim which relaxs me a bit and helps my sleep, another sign of adrenal problems.

i'm not sure my Dr knows what NOREPINEPHRINE is, seriuosly actually i nkow she doesn't, and i'm not paying s""t loads for an Endo, must be something out there

If my doctor didn't know what it was then I would find a new doctor! Endos are not that expensive and they really know their stuff.

If it is not stress, excitement, or pain related - you better find a doctor that knows about adrenal cortex disorders. Sadly many self professed endo's don't know their business. Find one that does. Some regular family practicioners and internists don't either. You must find a good doc and get this checked.

Elevated levels of catacholamines that are not related to the simple things stress, excitement, pain, or exertion may be from heart problems (heart failure causes an increase in these hormone levels). There is also pheochromocytoma - elevation of the adrenal hormones caused by chromaffin cell tumor disease. These are not common problems but the risk is not to be taken lightly - GO SEE A GOOD DOCTOR AND GET IT CHECKED.
