Post workout meal


this is what ive been having:

1.5 scoops of Optimum Nutrition Protein mixed with 5-7 grams of creatine, and a banana.

is the banana sufficient for the carbs i need post workout?

You may want to go with some more simple sugars like dextrose but the bananna is better then nothing.

What foods can dextrose be found in?

Im struggling to gain weight and I'm woundering if its because I dont take any simple shakes post workout.

grapejuice. thats what i take my creatine in for better absorbtion. i have also been told gnc has dextrose but i have never bothered with buying it straight so im not 100% on that.
