Real difference between Creatine and Whey Protein?


Hello there, sorry that I asked this, I'm still very new to supplements and will like to know what is the real difference between Whey Protein Powder and Creatine? Please enlighten me and I will also like to know what is the best supplements up to date? Do you guys have a list of supplements or drugs you are using? Thank you to all in advance.

Well the main difference is that one helps with post-workout nutrition and the other helps during your workout. Creatine basically helps you gain a very small amount of energy by the rentention of more water into your muscle cells which enables you to lift at a higher poundage or for a higher volume of reps thus promoting growth. Whey protein is one of the fastest digesting proteins you can buy, it's role is basically to be taken directly after a workout so your body can start to synthesise protein within minutes which kicks your body into a higher anabolic state promoting the faster and more efficient anabolism of any nutrients you ingest, such as carbohydrates and proteins. Take the whey with some dextrose (sugar) post-workout.

So which is the best time to take creatine? Before or after workout? Is it ideal to take Whey protein powder before and after workout? One more thing, is it advisable to take amino pills and what does it actually helps?

PLEASE READ the STICKY at the TOP of this forum on CREATINE. The whey protein would be good an hour before and then immediatly after your workout, and the amino acids are the building blocks of muscle tissue, so yes they help, I've found they do.
