Yes, bodybuilders on the average can train a lot more frequently and with increased volumes than ordinary average joes, not just because of the steroids, but because their bodies are used to the volume and their fitness level overall is pretty good - nothing compared to powerlifters/olympic lifters though.
Yes any hormonal supplements(if good), will give you some kind of an edge. Whether you will be able to train twice a week all depends on you and your body - some people on pro-hormones still use only 3,4 day splits.
