It's what I use. Why? Because it's cheap and I don't think there is much difference in the various proteins. The extra stuff in it...I don't know, but it hasn't hurt me. I use the same brand of creatine for now too.

It doesn't look like the worst choice. But I don't really like the 1.5g of saturated fat, especially for post-workout.

Also doesn't say how much creatine or any other ingredients it contains.

It doesn't. I think of them as just trace amounts and take my dextrose and creatine separately. Right before using this for a PWO. A little extra shouldn't be harmful. According to all my lab work it isn't anyway...most of my parts are still working as they should.

Right I know excess creatine isn't harmful, because you reach a "ceiling" with how much creatine your body uses. I'm just curious as to how much it really contains. If it's 5g of monohydrate in a serving, then another creatine supplement might not really be necessary.

Since you posed the question I called the company. They went through all the BS of "our proprietary blend..." Then I finally got out of them that everything on the label with a cross beside it that are "muscle building support" total only 1.3g (FOR ALL OF IT) per serving. I said, "so basically you are telling me it's just enough to say you've got it in there but not enough to count as a suppliment". She said, "exactly right but I didn't say that."

Lol, well that's very enlightening. It'd be interesting to see how many other brands use the same tactics. Almost every supplement label includes ingredients like that with the crosses.

I'd be willing to bet that if there was a substantial amount of a certain ingredient, they would come right out and say the amount per serving. For example my whey protein includes L-Glutamine, but it clearly says 4000mg of L-Glutamine on the label.

Yeah, the lady at the company told me that if it was enough to be worth mentioning, they would list it with the amount. The crossed items in the proprietary blends don't have enough in them to be considered as a creatine suppliment, glutamine suppliment, or whatever else suppliment.
