Started taking whey protein...

three days ago, and i noticed that at night my body seems to be hot and some nights i actually sweat. I've been having a horrible time falling asleep, and i get up around 7am now, even though i dont go to bed early or wish to awake that early. I've been working out almost everyday, weight lifting cardio, basketball, and since i started using this whey, which i dont find nothing wrong with, i just can't seem to relax my body at night. I want to sleep but i feel so active. Any suggestions?

Are you taking in a lot of sugar at night? What brand is the protein?

nope, dont add sugar to anything, and i avoid sweets. 100% whey is the brand. Drinking 1+ gallons of water, doing all that good stuff. Im just hot, i mean like i have a fever or something.Every night.

That doesn't sound like it's being caused by the protein... sorry i can't really diagnose what's happening, but im fairly sure that protein isn't the culprit.

Oh, i don't think it is either, but i think that since they said it's called thermo something, (process of digesting the protein) and with two weeks of constant high intensity, that my metabolism is just through the roof and burning calories furiously, so furious im always active?

I dont know either. Ive lost 4 pound the last two days , (lifting and playing ball,) while maintaining over 1 gallon of water, so Im happy but, not being able to sleep is a pain.

the only thing im taking is whey, the thermo something is the effect of digesting protein(thATS What i meant). Im not taking anything other than one vitamin tablet , and my whey, well i broke my foot the other day, and i haven't been able to work out as hard ass i used to, and ive been able to sleep. I still take the whey, but not more than 100g, so it probably was my working out.

Could it be something you are taking for the broken foot? Also, read the label maybe there is something else in the whey.

what time are you working out?

If its late, your metabolism might still be running too high to fall asleep.
