Stomach pH

Is this something to be controlled/maximized.

Most of us take Vitamin C (lowers the pH) and Calcium (often calcium cabonate which raises the pH). Is this something that can be manipulated to yeild greater gains or does the body naturally do a great job of regulating it?

My opinion, with NO scientific support....

Don't &%^ with Mother Nature.

Changing body function at that level will probably have an affect on everything right on down the line.

What do you mean? How is manipulating your pH of your stomach going to yield greater gains? Besides - stomach pH is where its at (around 3) for a reason.

Not fully sure either what you mean these two products are not going to effect pH in a major way like an antacid would anyway

well calcium carbonate is typically found in antacids to raise the pH (make the system more basic). i'm not sure how this relates to your question though rbuchman
