sugar alcohols Own me.

is it just me, or does anyone else get crazy gastro intestinal issues with products containing sugar alcohols...

I had some sugr alcohol cookies and a STRIVE bar (around 19g sugar alcohol)... and I couldnt even sleep that night due to the gas...

does the body get used to this and eventually will it stop?

or does it happen no matter what???

I get 'issues' also. Some people's bodys can't handle the sugar alcohols and that never changes or gets better. Even the small amount that is in some gums like Extra get me "loose". I will usually have diarhea for half of the next day when eating them. I just stay away now. lol

Gastric problems is normal for sugar alcohol products. You are normal. "Loose" is a common side effect too. Stay away is the best cure!

If it contains sugar alcohol, read the label. It will tell you that excessive consumption will cause these problems.

my gi tract is also sensitive to it, even a small amount works as a laxative.

makes you think...you dont eat sugar so you dont get bloated and puffy....meanwhile the sugar alcohols are doing just that! so add some phazyme now...vicious farty gassy runny cycle

thumbs down tigz time to bleed
