Supplement Experience

Hi everyone,

I've recently started adding L-Glutamine and Branched Chain Amino Acids (BCAAs) to my protein shakes and have seen some strange effects. Since adding these I noticed an increase in my appetite within a few days. I'm not talking about feeling a little hungry but I just can't stop eating, it's like my body is demanding a constant supply of food!

Seriously, my appetite has exploded since supplementing with this. Has anyone else experienced anything similar?

I've decided to half my protein shakes and increase my protein intake from real foods (which is already pretty high) due to this extra eating ability I've acquired.

Anyway I was just interested to see if anyone else has had similar experiences.

FYI prior to this protein shakes and creatine were the only supplements I would take.

There are a lot of positive reports on the benefits of supplementing with BCAA's in higher doses (40-80g per day) but I have heard nothing about increased appetite.

me neither, but I dont take BCAAs, so I dont personally know, im not counting whats accounted for in O.N. Whey, I doubt you absorb much of that..

You could try adding more fats to your diet, It might help bring your protien intake down just a tad.
