Just an interesting note for those cows, Andy - I lived on an intentional commune for a year where we had our own dairy and beef herds. They would put the beefers out in the clover for something like a week or two before slaughter: man, that was the best tasting beef I ever ate in my life! But it may have just been that they were organic type cows, raised old style.

Yeah, real farm raised in the country - like we do here. Not feed lot raised. Much better beef. Got to be better for ya too. Those around here run on fescue and clover all summer long.

Because we've got a lot of small local farmers and do business with them. That's the way folks around here are. We will buy from the local businessman or woman rather than going to some chain store and buying from the commercial crappeddelers. We saw what happened when most of the dairy farmers sold out and didn't like it.
