supplements to cut?

Ok i've got my diet and workouts the best they have ever been in my life (Body for life diet and OVT Training for lifting, with at least 3 days of cardio). Im looking for supplements (key word, not magic pill) to help me achieve my goals. I've been looking into CLA and L-Carnitine and also been looking towards thermogenics. Now the problem is that i have asthma (since birth, but under control since i've become active) and most thermogenics warn against taking if u have asthma. I researched and found nothing to support the warning and 2 sites saying that it's just a generic warning and that it poses no greater risk to asthmatics(from one of those ask the doctor sites)

So finally the question: What's a good supplement(s) to take to help me with the weight loss. Im willing to try a thermogenic (i've been looking at lipo6) as long as (1) it wont kill me (2) it wont effect my asthma. Or does CLA and Carnitine sound better? Any help is greatly appreciated....i have another week of research i can do before i get my paycheck and can go buy something

Carnitine can be a decent fatloss supplement, but I have found CLA to be not of much use. SesaThin is a decent fatloss/general health supplement.

I prefer the Acetyl or propionyl esters of Carnitine, combined with pyruvate.

Start simple with daily green tea and maybe some additional caffeine prior to cardio.

Green tea is an excellent recommendation,l both from a fatloss standpoint as well as for its anti-oxidant properties. Good call, maverick

My body does not respond to CLA at all either. When I cut, I use Acetyl-L-Carnitine along with a good ECA stack.

Nothing beats smart diet manipulation, training and cardio for awesome fat loss results. Your diet alone will have a way bigger impact than any supplement ever could. Unless you plan on using an ECA stack, I wouldn't waste my time and effort looking for something that is going to aid you so minutely in the end anyways. Just my .02 worth.

i have never tried any of those fat loss supplments, so I can't really say... however I dont see why you need anything more than some caffeine maybe... I mean, if diets in check, workouts are good, thats all u need.

In my opinion, most of the 'fat loss' people boast of using supplements was achieved through diet and exercise - i think the fat loss supps have a placebo effect for the most part.

waste of money!
