I've been wondering about too much water lately Dark, I carry a 32 oz water bottle and I must be drinking about 8-9 a day of those things......too much?

I drank between 3-4 gallons per day when I was dieting for my contest....and I was fine. But at the same time, my body needed that much during that time. I wouldn't worry about getting too much, most people do not get enough, even when they THINK they are getting adequate amounts.

To update my feelings on NOX2...or any NO type supplement...Sure the pumps are nice, but they last only as long as the bottle. Maybe if you're really vain and you wanna hit the beaches you can purchase a bottle and look "pumped". I used mine in conjunction with creatine and therefore attribute any real gains to the creatine and not the NOX2. It might help you to push a little more weight, but I saw no significant increases. I'm gonna put my next 30 or so bucks toward good ole food!

No problem if you drink enough water, that's the point.

Vitamins and water intake

Its not taking anything out actually. The only thing that will kill your cells and is alcohol something that will go in and destroy. Also if you research water lubiricates your joints. White urine is better.

But the question is does it really flush out vitamins? It sounds like a possibility since it is being absorbed into your bloodstream as everything else that you intake.

Thats what I've heard. However if you can do it in moderation water is helpful with weight loss.

Very helpful post

Check out Dihydrogen Monoxide Research Division - dihydrogen monoxide info

It's a joke site. Funny, if you're a nerd like me.

Water alone does not provide significant electrolytes that are lost during activity through sweat. Electrolytes like sodium, magnesium and potassium must be replaced to be properly hydrated.

Most of the big name commercial brands out there ("Thirst Quenchers") are nothing more than over-sugared water, which can actually encourage de-hydration.

I am using a re-hydration formula that is "hypotonic" (rapidly absorbed). It is emptied quickly from the gut for absorption into the tissues, which nourishes working cells.

This formula will be featured in Tri-Athlete magazine in August. I found out about it because the company is here where I live (San Diego). I want to avoid sounding like an Ad because that is not my intention. So...

If you would like more information on this formula, please email me at bcvpaulg@yahoo.com

I will continue to drink fresh water, but being properly hydrated is critical, particularly for athletes.

water is probably one the most overlooked aspects of nutrition, particularly with the prevalance of high sodium, high protein diet

I drink no where near enough liquid and I know it. I am just never thirsty and forget to drink something. When I am being really conscious of it, I pee like every few minutes, which isn't good when you're in college and have jobs, and I lose weight as well, about 2-4 lbs. Something I will need to work on definitely.
