Tribulus....


ok ive decided that ive been dieting along time and training hard for about 6 years, and now i wanted to add some extra test. in me to help progress my results. i bought a cheaper brand of tribulus with 250mg a pill, and guarentees 40 percent steroidal saponins. i heard that you need something else in it to help your body absorb it more, and im wondering if i should be taking an estrogen blocker with this. i was informed that tribulus is probably your safest bet at increasing test without havin to much side affects. i also noticed my temper went up a ton, and weirdly my acne went away, and my balls kinda tingle after taking about 1,000 mg. also i want to kno if should be cycling it so my body doesnt get used to it. the first day i took 500mg, the next day i take 750, the next day i take 1000, then i take 1250, 1500, then i dont take it for three days, is this pointless or what. sorry for such a long message but im very curious on the supp im taking. thanks for all your help.

people usually go 2 weeks on 2 weeks off or 4 and 4.

TrueProtein.com has tribulus at 90% saponins.

You can also use ZMA at night before bed. If anything, youll at least be getting better sleep and some vital nutrients with it.

I've seen a general concensus of cycling at either; 5 days on 2 off or 4 weeks on 2 off. Taking it in pyramiding doses though, isn't going to matter. Easiest way is to just take it at full dose Monday thru Friday and take Sat. & Sun. off. Some people say you don't even need to cycle it and i'm reading alot more research that the gain in test. is too minor to matter. I would hit up the ZMA as Suarez says. I think it's more proven effective. I'd finish out the bottle but i'm personally going to leave Trib out of my list of supps. after this.

Honestly I think the first time I tried trib I experienced a noticable increase in size and strength. It was using AST's stuff. it did break my back out, which meant it was doing something to my hormones.

I tried pinnacles anabolx tribulus, and biotests tribex500 (everyone recommended this one to me for some reason) and neither had any noticeable effect whatsoever.

I think tribulus works best at restoring your bodys natural test levels, like after a cycle, or if your low for whatever reason. If you have normal test levels, dont expect much from it.

i dont think an anti-e would help anything. Its more for when you come off a cycle and your test production is shut down. I could be wrong though.

You should take it according to what it says on the bottle. I think i remember most being 2-3 times a day, cant remember the dose.

The increases Tribulus causes are not significant enough to worry about cycling and yes it does cause a corresponding increase in eostradiol but this is definatly no reason for the complications of an eostrogen blocker unless you wanted to try something natural such as chrysin.

At my age (30), test. levels start to decrease which is why I started using Trib. in the first place. If my levels were low then it will help, if not then it won't. I do however notice a big difference in my attitude/aggressiveness but I am starting to think that it's a bit more to do with the ZMA, that's why I am gonna leave trib. out after this. Been taking 500mg 3 times/day if that helps. Every brand is a little different though.

im only 19, i take zma too, but why would zma make you more aggressive, its just zinc, magnesium and vitamin b?

Zinc and magnesium help support healthy testosterone levels and the form in which ZMA is in (zinc monomethionine aspartate), is supposed to be more potent.

I did 2x cycles of Trib 2x years ago. The gains were definately evident as the recouperation time was less than 40% of what it once was. Thus allowing me to, idiotically, complete HIT style training. I definately advise against both Trib supplementation and HIT training, but the latter is a whole different ball of wax.

After almost stabbing a guy at work with a screwdriver, some bed-room issues that I won't delve into, and combination of reduced memory and slower reactions I quit. Not a moment too soon as I was seriously contemplating upgrading to Androstenine (illegal in Ontario and most provinces besides the Maritimes).

Semi-old post I know, but I got talked into it and was told there were absolutely no side effects, just wanted to offer up my short and last experience with Trib.
