Trueprotein.com mixtures

So I have finnaly decided to try some protein mixes to use pre and post workout instead of eating food. I figure I am trying to get good protein before and good protien/carb mix after the workout. I have been looking at trueprotein.com and I like the fact that they let you mix your own, but I am tottaly lost as to what combinations are good for both.

I was thinking about using some of thier pre-mixed formulas just as a start, but I wanted to get some of your feedback and maybe see some of your mixes (if you use trueprotein.com) before I buy a few pounds of each. So post em up, or just some help on good mixtures would be good too.

I just got my order today. I ordered 2, 1 pound custom mixes just to try.

The first was:

20% Whey Protein Isolate Microfiltration
10% Miceller Casein
25% Milk Protein Isolate
25% Egg White Protein
10% Soy Protein Isolate
2% Maltodextrin
2% Dextrose
3% Fructose
3% MCT Powder
Premium BSL Vanilla Flavor

This one taste pretty good, better that any I have bought.

The second mix was:

42% Milk Protein Isolate
43% Egg White Protein
3% Maltodextrin
3% Dextrose
4% Fructose
5% MCT Powder
Premium BSL Vanilla Flavor

This one was pretty good too. No bad aftertaste.

All in all I am pretty happy with these two mixes. I am using the second mix as Pre-workout. And the first mix as Post-Workout.

This is without a doubt the best tasting protein I have ever had. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the reply. I like your pre-workout mix, but I was thinking of going with a higher carb mix for the post mix. Just out of curiousity, how many calories/carbs/protien is in each serving of those two mixes?

I think the calories are around 200,
Protein is about 25 grams on average and only about 5-7 grams of carbs.

This is just an estimate from looking at the ingrediants online.

I really like this protein. This is good stuff. I will definitly order more.

i keep mine simple. i do a milk/egg blend, there are 5 of these proteins. 100 divided by 5 is 20% of each. i then add it to my grinded oats and flax oil to make a shake

just a hint, but you can go do your mixes at protein factory to get the totals on them
