Trying a new protein source......

http://www.trueprotein.com/store/index.asp

I was bummed since Black Star Labs discontinued their proteincustomizer.com resource.. so David Rosland gave me a new lead

I am ordering a blend now, ill let you know how the ordering, delivery, and quality is

I still love DF's sponser proteinfactory.com......but I think competition is good for the consumers so just a friendly heads up.

holy $hit that place looks awesome. I priced out a 5lb bag of the "high grade" whey with dextrose/maltodextrin and glutamine with tropical blend flavor and it was less than a 5 lb jug of ONs protein.

ACEHOLE...tell me exactly what kind of blends you make...im going to make a PWO blend and an MRP belnd with some of the fats when they finally come out.

That does look very aweomse. The prices do indeed rival ONs. Now just to see if they give shipping discounts for high poundage orders.

when you choose the %'s for each ingredient, do they all have to equal 100 (would make sense) or it is a proportional thing? Like if you choose 100% whey and 100% casien, would that just be equal parts per scoop or is that not possible?

From their FAQ:
Q:
The flux capacitor is having a conflict with my dual donkelator valve, which is effecting my rotary girder next to the stanchion fluctuating module, on my 1976 AMC Gremlin. Is there anything I can do to fix this?
A:
Yes, there is.

For summertime I ordered a blend void of sugar and fats to stay looking tight.

I wanted a nice combo of fast and slow proteins, some predigested, and also to make sure i have calcium/vitamins/minerals in it.

Myself and a guy in my office split 11lbs (getting it in plastic containers not bags) using this blend for cutting.

we chose:
60% Whey Isolate Cold Filtration
10% Hydro Whey High Grade
20% Micellar Casein
10% Milk Protein Iso

Vitamin and Minerals added
BSL Choco flavoring system (uses sucralose)
and opted for plastic jugs

Ill keep you posted!
thanks for taking a look guys

l'd recommend for PWO Blend:

Whey Isolate/Hydro Whey Combo totaling 45%
Dextrose/Malto combo totaling 55%

MRP:
40% Whey
30% Milk Protein Isolate
25% Malto
5% Fish Fats

I'm also quite intrigued by the ability to mix your own batch basically. I would love to make my own and know exactly what the ratios are etc,.

Considering the fish fats would be exposed to oxygen for a while i would think that the protein would eventually start smelling rancid.
