vitamin injections

I got these Vit B injectables.

Each vial (3ml) contains:
Vit B1 - 100mg
Vit B6 - 100mg
Vit B12 - 5000mcg

Anyone knows how often to inject?

Steve

From everything I have been reading about the B vitamins I would go with weekly or bi-weekly injections. Your daily requirement for B -12 is about 2.5 mcg/day. What kind of schedule/dose are you thinking of?

I was thinking maybe once a week. I don't really know, never used it before as an injectable. Basically, I just want to see what it does.

Expect to have expensive piss. Your body will remove the excess; it only needs so much. AFAIK the body won't load on water-soluble vitamins.

By the way, my daddy the doctor always told me that B vites were the single most painful injections he knew of. Have fun!

Steve, Hi

Why would only take certain parts of the 'B' complex. I have always been told that vit B should always be taken together because of the close interelationship in metabolic processes.

I also think it fair to assume that if your body has to much then it will pee it out anyways

Cheers

Dave

You are going to inject 3 ml at one time? Wow that is a hugh injection. And even though vitamin B-12 is water soluable, I believe I just read something that says it will build up in your body. That wasn't mentioned as a warning of possible OD or adverse reaction, just that we won't get any extra benefit from the excess.

The vials are 3ml.....got to use it all at once...can't store it. Once the top is broken off.....you got to use it all.

Anyway, I got them cheap....less than $2 for three vials.

You can preload some syringes. Just be very careful to keep them sterile and replace the pin you used to draw the fluid up. If you are careful and keep your fingers away from any openings then you will be safe.
