Question

Weed and ZMA, Creatine and L-Glutamine ...

I gave up smoking weed a couple of years ago and smoking in general earlier this year. My question regarding the topic title is:

Weed and ZMA:
I'm tryin to cut out drinking alcohol as much as possible and was thinking about using weed again (need some vice to relax with at weekends), problem is i've also started using ZMA as a supp and was concerned about wether or not the weed would impair any testostorone increases from the ZMA?
I also read that ZMA direct benifits on testosterone can take a while to show, has anyone had any experiance in this as there is so much conflicting information out there?

Creatine and L-Glutamine:
I thought i may have read an article on another website(although i'm not sure) that taking both L-Glut and Creatine at the same time was counterproductive, anyone know anything about this as i'm currently taking a L-glut/creatine/dextrose mix ?

Any help with this would be much appretiated, just wanna get my facts right before i go reversing or redicing any gains i could get :/

Thanx

weed actually was proven to not lower test...but even if you are concerned, they will just counteract each other if weed does happen to lower your test levels

also, glut and creatine at same time is fine

also, weed is better than alcohol imo because you dont get hangovers

Hmm think i'll look into the weed "not" lowering testosterone, wound be nice to find out as i was actually thinking of stoppping taking alcohol altogether if i can replace it wiv weed

If not...well guess i'll just have to limit meself to 6 beers once @ the weekend, and drink a crapload of water before sleep to save messing wiv the creatine cycle :S.

Ty though m8, thoughts appretiated

3) NEW STUDY FINDS POT DOESN'T LOWER TESTOSTERONE

A new study by Dr. Robert Block at the University of
Iowa disputes the commonly held notion that marijuana alters
the level of testosterone and other sex hormones.
The study contradicted a widely publicized 1974 study
by Dr. R.C. Kolodony, which reported decreased testosterone
levels in men who smoked marijuana chronically.
The U. of Iowa study found that chronic marijuana use
had no effect on testosterone, luteinizing hormone, follicle
stimulating hormone, prolactin and cortisol in men or women.
Noting that six other studies had failed to show
lowered testosterone levels in men, Dr. Block concluded: "It
appears that marijuana, even heavy use of the kind that's
typical in the United States, doesn't alter testosterone levels."
However, he cautioned that heavy use might have other
adverse effects, including "possible effects on reproductive
function and mild, selective cognitive impairments associated
with heavy, chronic use."
Block's study is published in Drug and Alcohol
Dependence, Vol. 28: 121-8 (1991).

Weed is OK.
ZMA is good.
Creatine is good.
Glutamine is IMHO a waste of money.

My 2 cents.....

Glutamine is good to take if your diet isnt exactly great. However, if you eat properly and often enough, your body wont jump into catabolic mode.

Weed = GOOD S*HIT

As long as you're only packing a few bowls once a week or once every couple weeks, then weed wont be an issue. Lay off the beer cause of the cals. Hard liquor is prob. the best vice though. It has few carbs, won't f*uck your lungs (if your involved in any aerobic activity/ sports), and doesn't have the same negative effects on the brain. But thats me just being a hipocrit. Smoke in moderation.
