Thanks,
I thought it was an amino, but it just didn't compute in my head.
I take the GNC amino 1000 now, but it doesn't say if it contains glutamine. It just says full spectrum amino acids

Protiens are polymers of amino acids.Polymers of amino acids are created by linking an amino group to a caroboxyl group on another amino acid. This is called a peptide bond.

Amino acids act as:
-enzymes (catalysts)
-metabolic intermediates
-carriers of energy and waste products and hormones.

In short: amino acids are popularly referred to as "building blocks". Amino acids are chemical units that makeup proteins. It builds your muscles.Proteins provide the structure for all living organisms and amino acids are an essential component of protein - proteins are actually a chain of amino acids linked together.
