its a protein shake thats got it all. every kind of protein just about, bcaa(branched chain amino acids) creatine, healthy fats. its basically a meal replacement. with water its 320 calories and with milk its 600! its the best tasting protein/meal replacement out their.. its just to damned expensive.

I usually buy a 100% whey protein but I was told by a friend that muscle milk is way better, is there any truth to that?

Someone else told me that I should only take muscle milk before bed and that I should take a 100% whey protein before and after work outs, any truth to that?

Oh, and GNC has muscle milk on sell right now for 26.00 bucks in california

no way one can say its better. its two different products for two different uses. if one only needs more protein in their meal plan, it would not make sense to buy a product that'll give you protein plus more carbs and more fats. if one needs more total calories, than it could be more useful than a straight protein powder.

you can use muscle milk before bed as a pre-bed shake if you cant do solid food for some reason. some use it during the day to help add more calories.

pre workout meals can either be solid food or a shake depending on what time you have it. not really much evidence to show that a shake is better, but if thats all one can do so be it. whey is good post training, but so is casien for that matter as recent reseach shows.

I hate going to sleep on an empty stomach... muscle milk in skim milk before bed was the cure to that. I just wish they had bigger tubs and it wasnt so expensive. try going to trueprotein.com you can design your own protein powder. all the way down to what they use to flavor it...what percent of protein, creatine, flax whatever you want you throw in. i got 10 pounds of whey/creatine/bcaa root bear flavored in sucrose for 50bucks

You could just take a normal protien shake and throw some olive oil in it.

Sorry, I just can't justify spending moreo money just to get a protien shake thats the same as anyother but with more fat in it.

but you're forgetting the fact that it also contains creatine, so no its not just any other protein shake that one can take.

but the muscle milk has just about every protein you can think of I.E... egg/cassien/whey... normal protein shakes only got whey... you might be able to take that whey in milk but i dont think it really takes as long to digest as people think... muscle milk is a great addition to a bulking diet!
