What is T3?

Can someone educate me on this substance?

If you supply your body with extra hormones, they body responds by shutting down its own production. There is probably research out there showing this to be true, but I think it is reasonable to assume the accuracy of that statement.

I would be hesitent on messing with anything related directly to the thyroid. Balance out your vitamin and mineral intake to utilize your free testosterone, but dont take additional T3. Just my opinion, not a fact.

Yes the thyroid itself shuts down...but eventually it returns to normal. I havnt seen any study that says high t3 for a long period of time/repeatedly hinders the thyroid in the long term. In fact, i found an article that focused on a people(non bodybuilders) who took t3 for so many years, and when they stopped their thyroid returned back to normal. Im still looking for the article... cant seem to find it anywhere but ill post it when i do.

I think we should set up a supplement FAQ listing them and their level of effectiveness/danger.

I would rank methylated PH's at the top, IGF-1, then other PH's, T3, Clen, and on down the list.... None of these should be taken by a beginner in my opinion... it is unfortunate that most people in their first two years of bodybuilding don't realize the amazing gains they can get without any supplements.

Well, I wont cast my opinion on T3, but I will say I wouldn't take it unless you either :

1) Know EXACTLY what you doing and what T3 actually does in great detail.
2) Are being professionally monitered by someone in the medical field.

I would rank it above clen, and I would say that this stuff is pretty damn dangerous for people to take.... today it occured to me just how wide spread this stuff is, this girl in my biology class came upto me and was like "Lee your into all this sport stuff right ?" "Why ?" "Ever heard of something called 3 I think it is ?" "T3?" "Yeah!, that's it, britney spears took that right ? Can you get me some mate ?" And no I'm not making this up here, this is deadly serious... she didn't even know what it was called lol.

I would hate to see someone like that manage to get their hands on it and randomly take it.
