All The Whey. It rocks. 10 pounds for 37.99. I was paying 39.99 for Amplify Whey at GNC. That was a ripoff. Just go to www.allthewhey.com . I totally recommend All The Whey.

If you want to build muscle a whey/casein blend is best. A recently published study showed that in subjects taking an equal amount of either whey/casein or whey alone the whey/casein group gained muscle and lost fat while the whey group showed no changes.

Sounds like someone is trying to promote something. I don't think this is the place for that since you aren't paying for advertising.

I believe this is true if you are just drinking a protein shake during the day to get the protein and calories in because the casein will have a slower absorption rate, but just a plain whey protein is more preffered for directly after your exercise. So I believe one would benefit most from using both types, not just one exclusively, just at their own respective times as decided by when one's workout is.

I agree. Each type of protein has its own unique benefits and should be consumed at different times. Even soy can be benefical for certain people.
Whey-casein is great for a MRP since it is absorbed more slowly than other proteins and has the right nutrients for maximizing protein syntesis. Whey is best pre and post-workout with carbs. Use hydrolyzed a product with hydrolyzed whey if you really want to the best protein pre/post-workout.

Personally I like getting the small cans of Designer at Trader Joes. They sell them for 8.99 (which is not a bad deal - better price than the 2lb tubs even!)

Multi-pro
I like Multi-pro Whey Isolate by IDS, good stuff. I like it because of its high protein count 23g and low calorie, only 100 calories, per scoupe. Its cheap too, I get it for 14.99 at nutrition depot. People say not to get the cheap ones but thats not true. Mostly the reason others are more is because they do a lot of advertiseing, IDS does not advertise a lot and thats why its cheaper. But it has the high quality protiens in it.

Hey Taverner, I use Designer too and just to let you know, there are quite a few places on the web that you can get 5 lbs of whey for around $20-25.
