I'll go ahead and add Protein USA's Pro-Rated into the mix.

I picked up a SIX pound tub from Costco for $21.69 TOTAL.

It has 22g of protein in each 29-30g serving, and the fresh strawberry flavor tastes excellent.

This was my first tub of protein .. and I honestly would like to stay with this unless someone gave me a sample of another protein.

It seems like it's the best tasting and best bang-for-the-buck protein out there.

I ran around to 3 different stores yesterday, including Costco, but the best deal I found (because Costco ran out) was online:

http://allsportsnutrition.com/listpr...0USA,%20L.L.C.

My girlfriend ordered the 5lb tub of strawberry last night.

If she has a good experience, I plan on re-upping by getting the 10lb tub for $37.99, if Costco doesn't order any more.

==

Now, here's a question .. what's this I hear about isolate protein's? Or milk isolate? My girlfriend posts over at the off-topic.com forum in the Fitness & Nutrition forum and someone commented that milk isolate is best for fat loss.

Someone teach this newbie a lesson or two about protein.

I've been trying out Medsyn Ultra Pure Whey Protein Isolate ....not bad for a stevia sweetened one and it's the easiest to mix I've come across so far. Just a spoon..not even one lil lump after a little mixing.

I've been using Designer Whey French Vanila. Has some glutamine in it as well. Any problems with this stuff?

There is one good brand in Australia known as Peter McCarthy's 90% Protein which is superior than other protein powder that is available in the world market. One more brand that is good is from Dave Pharmacia 100% protein which is unflavored. It sells for USD15 for 2.2lbs. Not sure if its available anymore. u can go to www.dave-pharmacia.com

Might as well throw in.

I have used:
-Optimum Vanilla: Gross taste in water or milk.
-Optimum Choc: I am currently using it tastes good. Mixes Fantastic
-EAS Simply Protein: Chocolate flavor is a tad better than ON, but mixes worse.
-GNC Choc: Tasted fantastic but it was mixed with milk(my pal's powder)
-Prolab Lean Mass Matrix: Cinnimon oatmeal flavor tastes very good. Mixes up well in a shaker. I am very pleased with this product and will likely continue its use over the MRP competition.

All the whey vanilla, tastes pretty good by itself and mixes well with other falvours. Dissolves very quicly and easily. Good price. Seems to be as good as any other protein I've used.
