Actually the golden window is after your workout, not before.

You probably mean "neutral" flavored. It still has some taste to it, but mixes easily with other things. I find I just slam the drink down post workout. Does the trick.

by slam it down do you mean you just chug it and get it over with or that you find it easy to drink because it tastes fine?

I have unflavored protein, All The Whey, and it doesnt taste very good if you don't mix it with something else, and a strong something else at that.

I have tried nitrotech, methoxy pro.,and also designer. I didnt really like nitro tech and the taste sucks!!!Methoxy pro was good but it is alittle pricey.

Has anyone ever used Prosource.? You can get it from the prosouce.com website. It is Whey Isolate.I just tried this brand. It tastes good but i dont know about the quality yet.

Optimum huh. I think i know the next one im going to try out.

I just recently picked up a 6lb jug of "pro-rated" 100% whey protein @ 22g per serving @ Cosco for $20. Got the chocolate and it tastes good. The cheapest I saw Optimum for out there was $22.99 for a 5lb jug....add $7 for shipping and I think I got a pretty good deal going the Cosco route. Will see how the stuff pans out.

I've been taking optimum nutrition for 3 days and i think i am going to change from my traditional gnc brand to this stuff. It is better tasting and mixes easier than gnc's which for a long time i thought was the easiest mixing until i tried ON.
